NICE expression on Cap's face.
Also love the frantic clawing of his shirt.

Funny how my favorite DC and Marvel characters look the best when drawn by JB.

Magnificent!  I love Union Jack.  Leave it to JB to show us the facial expression of a man wearing a mask...!

gee I dunno, I thnk the only thing that would make that drawing better is....

I got nothing.

Terrific work. Still one of my favorite Cap moments. I remember buying that issue at 7-11. And that ought to show just how old a geezer I am.

Amazing, how after 20 plus years of admiring JBs work, my first thought is always "man, I wish I could draw like that."
Fantastic stuff, JB.  Thanks for sharing with us.

VERY cool re-take on JB's original cover:

The look on Capt. America's face is sobering.

This is outstanding work.  I'm very impressed by the power of the drawing.

That is fantastic.  Captain America's expression says everything.

I find myself drawn much more to penciled art as opposed to finished, inked work.  No matter how talented an inker, the vitality and movement of penciled work seems to suffer once the black is put down.
