I've been under siege by the Pretenders' "Talk of the Town" for more than a week now. I may listen to "Break My Stride" on repeat just to end this.

"Copacabana" by Barry Manilow.

I have danced to this tune many times, including in a Portugal nightclub (one of my best holidays ever). I like the song even if it's fashionable to knock it.

From Barry Manilow's official YouTube page:

I defy anyone who knocks "Copacabana" to go ahead and write a better song.

Really don't know why, but various classical songs, and their visual depictions in the Disney movie FANTASIA, are "playing in my head" today.

My brain is a lot like the Oort Cloud, with all kinds of stuff tumbling around and occasionally falling into the middle. Which is the only way I can explain why my onboard record player is currently entertaining me with Shakira singing "Whenever, Wherever".
