"Date For Church" - the Replacements

the Beatles "Got To Get You Into My Life" appeared on Capitol's "Rock 'n' Roll" compilation album. I'd love to see a CD reissue of this, as well as "Love Songs", particularly in the case of the former, as it would prove handy when confronted with the ill-informed who claim that The Beatles Did Not Rock.

Wow. I haven't heard that in a long time. Now I have that in my head. And I even remember the video.

Thanks for the correction, David -- I knew it was on one of those two
releases, but I never had either.

Now, as to why "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" was released as a single shortly
thereafter? I have no explanation.

Now, thanks to Brian pulling out the naughty initials, I'm grooving to "L.M.L.Y.P." by Ween (interpolating Prince's "Shockadelica").

Since I am watching all the Bonds in my Ultimate edition set, after I watch one the theme song sticks with me for ever until I watch the next one.

Right now it's Licence to Kill...

I had the time of my life - I don't know who the performers were, but it's from Dirty Dancing, I don't know how it got there, and it won't go away!

"Top Of The World" - The Carpenters

"I'm on the
Top of the world, lookin'
Down on creation and the
Only explanation I can find

Is the love that I found
Ever since you've been around
Your love's put me on
Top of the world..."

You're welcome.

"Hello Again" by the Cars.

[edited to add] Whoops! As I was typing it suddenly changed to Leo Sayer's
"You Make Me Feel Like Dancing!"

(I wanna dance the night away...)
