JB, how come sometimes you can see the strokes in your black areas and sometimes they appear as solid black?  Is this intentional or is it just the marker?  Wolverine's mask for instance is solid black but you cansee the brush stroke.  Howevere in some of your other pieces, it is not as noticeable. Love the intensity of the eyes.

Bit of "Behind the Scenes":

Something with which I seem always to have to struggle is that tiny little anatomical point where the collar bones connect with the top of the shoulder. I sat down to lay out this figure this morning, and for some reason those two small areas clicked just perfectly, first pass. Then I thought "Wait a second -- which costume did the guy want?" I checked the email from Jim and. . . .

Seems to be a scanner artifact, at least in terms of the stuff I post.

This Wolverine makes a nice counterpoint to your recent Hulk commission work, JB. In my head I'm picturing those two facing off against each other. It'd make a for a nice fight that's for sure. Not that it hasn't been done in the past. But still ..

I agree Trevor, and the winner to take on Green Lantern who is hovering about.  Or maybe Wolverine is all bloody from having been hit with that spike that Green Lantern was wielding.

John, I know you have commented on the amount of time these take you to do, but please, please tell me that this took days becasue if it did not whoever says that they need months(or in some cases years) to get a book out should be shot.
