Perfect Wolverine.
Question for JB: when you were drawing him for the Uncanny X-Men, about
how tall did you figure him to be? I liked the fact that he was tough--and
short. But just how short?

Hey Aric,
I asked for a "coming at you" Wolverine, costume circa X-men 133, maybe similar to his first wolverine cover. I also asked for it to be done another way if possible which I won't say right now. In any case I left it up JB to do as he pleases. Maybe it's yours??, either way is fine I'm sure the next one will be just as nice. I'm just happy to be able to get one, I'm working up to getting a really big one if possible.
Atilla

Very very happy with the way that all three of my new commissions came out. In fact, impossible for me to chose a favorite. Thanks again JB.

Happy to say that JIm confimred that this one is in fact mine. One last question JB, do you ever tire of drawing particualr characters? The renderrings always look so dynamoic, as if you are incredibly enthusiastic about drawing. My wife's comment when she saw this was wow, he must really love what he does. She then asked how long you have been doing it. When I told her, she was shocked and sais that it is amazing how someone at it as long as you still seems to bring so much enthusiasm and that it shibes right through. Anywaya the misus was so taken by my recent commissions, that she has authorized(yeah I need permission) another one!

One last question JB, do you ever tire of drawing particualr characters?*** Let's put it this way: X-Men commissions cost more than other characters. The primary reason for that is to avoid exactly that situation. When I started doing these things, I realized immediately that unless I "discouraged" them, people would likely ask for nothing but Wolverine! This way, people can still get X-Men stuff, but they have to really want it.

I am surprised we have not seen more of the Alphans, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing them. I think from your postings, we are soon to see (i hope) someone much shorter than Wolverine.

Darn, I was hoping for Puck. Great work, still. You are outdoing yourself with each new commission posted. Thanks for sharing (R.M)

I may be reading between the lines but I took this as a less than subtle hint.
