Very cool, Chris!

Back in 1981, my high school band did a Rush medley ... opened with the 2112 Overture/Temples of Syrinx into Xanadu into Cygnus X-1 into Natural Science ... we even played Entre Nous in its entirety (great composition).  Later, my college band did Distant Early Warning, Subdivisions, Vital Signs, and opened our 3rd set with La Villa Strangiato (big mistake LOL).

Rush songs are a blast to play, aren't they?

-------------------
Definitely. And it's often surprising which songs are easier to
learn than others. Speaking as a drummer, something that sounds
technically complicated (like "Tom Sawyer") is easier than
something newer and more groove-oriented (like "Peaceable
Kingdom" or "Alien Shore"). None of their songs are easy,
but they're all fun. Particular drumming favorites: The Spirit of
Radio, The Big Money, Limelight, Leave That Thing Alone, Natural
Science, Driven, and Bravado.

Nice little snippet!

Also, the Starwood Amphitheatre in Nashville is being closed, so Rush won't open the tour there.

Can't wait for this tour. I hope to catch 5 shows.

EST is UTC-5.  Five hours earlier.

If you're looking for the excerpt from the new single, it's there now.  After the "Choose your bandwidth" page, you get to the main page:

http://www.rush.com/php/home.php?f=1

Toward the bottom of the page, see where it says "TO HEAR A TASTE OF THE NEW SINGLE, CLICK HERE". Click there. :)  Sounds pretty good...

Damn, just as I was getting into the taste of the new single, it ended. Liked
what I heard, but want to hear more.

One opinion can be formed: The Far Cry snippet sounds more "spacious" than the clipped density that is Vapor Trails. I'm really looking forward to this release.
