Wow, just WOW!

I'm guessing this isn't one of those commissions where the pose and
everything was dictated. Any stories behind the commission?

The one little thing I noticed was the rounded chain links. It seems almost
every artist draws rectangular chain links nowadays, it's nice to see
something different which also lends a uniqueness to the character.

JB,

Inspirational, thrilling and educational are three of the words that describe the exact feeling I get when I see any and all of your commissioned pieces and your pencilled pages....

another outstanding and jaw dropping piece.

thanks for posting this and all the work.

Actually (!!), it was, at least to the extent that the customer asked for the battling ladies to be falling from a skyscraper.

Looks like it worked out though. Part of the "wow" factor in this
commission is that I think of Thundra as a very "grounded" character. I
don't recall any images of her flying, jumping, etc. Most times she's firmly
planted and/or surrounded by rubble. I guess it's the sense of weight that
most artists add to her. With those thoughts somewhere in the back of
my mind...this commission was very surprising.

Thundra! The love of my life! What a woman! Thank god she's not been "modernized" as far as I know...I guess Marvel's thankfully forgotten she exists.

FF: The End seemed to hint at a reason why the two should fight (part of the reason why this commish is so cool).
