So I was just able to get to my local comic shop and finally retrieve all eight Hero Collector Batman Decades figures.

I ended up opening them (of course) and displayed them intermixed with their decade-appropriate Corgi Batmobiles (from the early 2000's)

The result was practically a 3D version of JB's Generations II covers!!!

On Amazon:

Edu-Toys T-Rex Skeleton 36" Scale Replica Model

Looks pretty spiffy, so I ordered one.

Ordering that t-rex summoned forth memories.

Here I am, circa 9 years old. In the background, a plastic t-rex I had until a few too many moves demolished it beyond repair.

I was wearing glasses by this point, but my mother always made me take them off for pictures. (They're probably in my left hand!)

Amazing to think that by this time in my life I had already crossed the Atlantic Ocean three times by liner, with the same number of trips across Canada by train.

That's kind of a lot for a kid to travel. and yet you seem pretty content.

Pooh? No. I wonder if there even were Pooh toys back then.

Content? Well, it took me quite a long time to realize other kids didn’t live like that!

Received the POP! Black Bolt today. Once again so accurately detailed it could be used as reference. Best part, tho, the black parts are BLACK!

Just completed this from my Funko Pop "wish list"...Captain Britain in his original costume!  Like many others, my first exposure to him was through Marvel Team-Up that John illustrated. I love this costume more than the later/current versions.

Certainly a sign of the times when Toho Productions starts licensing these types of Godzilla wear...

Comes in the Heisei-era

G-Force

And the more recent

Shin Godzilla Organization

versions
