SEVEN MEN FROM NOW, part of the Budd Boetticher Collection of Westerns from the 1950s starring the great Randolph Scott. I'm watching them in year order, so this one was first. Co-stars Lee Marvin preparing for his later Liberty Valance, and the movie is a solid work with some psychological edge to it. Marvin at that time was doing all kinds of crazy subtextual stuff in his acting, but it's all-natural talent. Randolph Scott was in his 50s, I believe? but he looks great.

I really liked "Zohan" a lot - every time I thought they were on the way to a
train wreck, I thought they made the right decision storywise. And I laughed
throughout as well.

Last movie was Casino Royale w/Daniel Craig. He's my favorite Bond so far. Quite fun to watch. Except for the torture and drowning. Still, a good flick.
I'm supposed to be watching disc 2 of Buffy, season 3, but I haven't put it in for months. May have to start over, now.

I have my Netflix discs waiting at home.  I am going back and forth between Wanted and the Fountain. It depends on which one my fiance want to see more as tonight is School Bingo night for the 7 year old so I will probably be watching alone.

WAR, INC. Kind of a weird movie. Obviously heavily satrical in places, played completely straight in others. Hilary Duff was actually believable as a Middle Eastern pop icon and showed some acting chops during some emotional scenes. Dan Ackroyd did a great Dick Cheney impression. Ben Kingsley reminded me of Gary Oldman's character in The Fifth Element. Marisa Tomei was cute too.

Some friends loaned us WAR, INC. last week, Corey -- it's on our "to be watched" pile for this coming weekend.  Big fan of John Cusak, and Marisa Tomei is always a good thing.

Finished Indiana Jones: The Adventure Collection with The Last Crusade today. I'd place it somewhere on the thin slice separating Raiders and Temple in my order of preference.

Yeah John, I'm still not sure what to think of it. I am a huge Cusak fan too (and I like his politics as well). It was a great idea for a movie, but I'm not sure if the execution was there.
