For some time now, there has been a very low quality image of this cover in the gallery. So, here is a higher resolution scan for your enjoyment. I have been meaning to scan and upload this for some time now. I bought this cover from Jim many, many years ago...... This is definitely one of my favorites in my original art collection.

Holy crap! I've never heard about this or seen it before. What a story that would've been.

I was familiar with the image - it was used in an old issue of Comics Interview (??  is that the mag?) in a JB interview - but seeing the date on the side there - December 1986???  REALLY??  That can't be right.  She Hulk was out when I was in High School and Dec 86 I was square in the middle of middle school.  Either JB was working YEARS ahead, or there's something wrong with either that date, or my memory...

ok - just walked away to check - the first issue of She-Hulk was dated 1989 - that jives with my memory.

Anyway - interesting date note there!

I have to ask JB: why wasn't this story used when you returned to the title?

This "lost story" cover is a real treat!

As much as I like the idea for this story and love the title, I think it's best for the character of "Roger Robot" that he never saw the light of day. The number of times he could have appeared as a "stand-in" for JB in stories written by folks with axes to grind is dis-spiriting to imagine...

Just what it appears to be, Phillippe. A very ROG-2000ish Robot has been framed for a crime he did not commit. My plan was to have the robot become Jennifer's "butler".
