To Doug, Re: AGENT CARTER

I enjoyed this series. Like you, I thought season one was stronger, but I enjoyed the interplay between Peggy and Jarvis more in season two. Maybe AGENTS OF SHIELD's season seven time-traveling will address the cliffhanger.

Last night, a little mini-marathon of animated Xmas specials:

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! [1966]

A Charlie Brown Christmas [1965]

Mickey's Christmas Carol [1985]

Prep & Landing [2009]

Three all-time classics, followed by a modern instant-classic!

Dipped at random into THE PRISONER (1966) and, sadly, confirmed what Iíd begun to suspect last time I paid a visit to the Village: whatever magic this series once held for me, itís gone.

SILICON VALLEY (S6 E7)

Series finale. I may have to mull a while before deciding if I was disappointed.

We havenít watched any of the new season. I felt the end of last season would be a perfect series ending. Was there anything in this that would lead me to feel otherwise?

I've been ever so slowly making my way through a set of the early '60s tv series 87th Precinct starring Robert Lansing and slid in the third disc and episode 11... and was totally surprised by the heroin dealing, marijuana smoking, used car salesman murder being Leonard Nimoy! They mention various guest stars on the back of the case but not Mr. Nimoy, I had no idea. My esteem for his acting ability has jumped considerably too! About as far from a Mr. Spock or Paris (Mission Impossible) as I can imagine. He's so good in fact I was wondering maybe it isn't him, sure looks like him, but... it was him. The same thing happened watching an old Wild Wild West with Carol O'Conner in it being nothing like Archie Bunker.

Random episodes from the first season of COMMUNITY. Clicked out of that to find GONE WITH THE WIND on TCM, and now convinced Alison Brie should do a Vivien Leigh bio-pic.

Just watched the first two seasons of Cobra Kai and really enjoyed it. If you are a fan of The Karate Kid, then it is definitely worth checking out.

VINLAND SAGA (S1)
Pretty brutal, but shouldn't be a surprise for second century Viking invaders.
Unfortunately it looks like it wont be until 2021 for season 2.

RIFLEMAN (S1) again
I'm such a sucker for this type of dialogue;
McCain: "Maybe I oughta rope and drag you for a while. A mouth full of foxtails might teach you some manners. It taught me."

anywhere. There's random episodes on Youtube if any is interested its
basically all based on Christopher Titus life and his comedy album Norman
Rockwell is Bleeding

INUYASHIKI: LAST HERO (one season)

Marathoned straight thru all 11 episodes.
Waiting for the movie (2018) to make it over here, want to see how they handle some of these events.

FLACK (S1)

First two episodes on Showtime. Anna Paquin as a ruthless PR flack working in London. Another series about people I would not want to know in real life. But it held my attention.
