I LOVE B&B. So much that I refer to them the way the old man, Tom Anderson did in one episode... Beaver & Buffcoat. I miss that show.

The first disc of TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN Vol 2.  Picked it up last July and never had a chance to view it until now.  Played it on my computer while doing a complete dust cleaning of my "otaku-room"...

Have to that more often (both the cleaning and watching Gurren Lagann).

DEXTER season two, about to start season three.  Enjoying this series enormously.

Also, sporadically, season two of THE FLINTSTONES.

BREAKING BAD Season 1. Just finished up the first season in two days. (To be fair season one is only 7 episodes long.) Absolutely brilliant show. Just bought the first two seasons on Blu-Ray to gear up for season three. This is my second viewing of this season.

SOUTH PARK, Season 13, Disc 1 - It's rude, it's crude and it's still funny.

MARY TYLER MOORE, season 5, disc 1.  Although it remained a very enjoyable show throughout its 7-year run, the series lost some of its sparkle after Rhoda left.  Neither Sue Anne nor Georgette -- both very funny characters -- could fill the void.  Also interesting that Mary herself evolved; unlike, say, the Lucy character who remained enternally incompetent, Mary grew increasingly confident and competent.  But she also lost a some of her charm and humor along the way.  All in all, the series was at its best in the first three or four years.

Spent the past several weeks watching all 7 seasons of The Shield. I picked up the first two seasons used, watched the first little bit, loved it, and traded them back in at the place I bought them so I could go buy the complete series boxed set.

AWESOME SHOW. I'm now on a mission to get everyone I know to watch it!

Corner Gas is pretty awesome, isn't it? I've got all the seasons, and every now and again I grab a random disc and sit down to watch.

It ended well, too. Enough of a finale to feel like a finale without resorting to changing characters or relationships or dynamics.

First season of LAW & ORDER / UK.

Enjoying it a lot. Freema Agyeman doesn't hurt, of course, but these "adaptations" of American scripts are also interesting. Players are uniformly good, too. Amusing to see Jamie Bamber speaking in what I take to be his natural accent.

SOUTH PARK, Season 13, Discs 2 & 3 - While I had seen most of these eps when they first aired, always fun to watch again. Audio commentary is also interesting and very short, which is kind of good because they aren't floundering for things to talk about for the entire show.

Last disk of Angel -- Season 5.

with JB's Lorne special set "After the Fall", and having just picked up the first "After the Fall" TPB, I wanted to try to remember where we left everyone at the end of the series.  Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Heya JB, i really enjoyed L&O: UK when i watched it on tv last summer, knowing that i had seen some of the episodes in their original incarnation years ago did not dampen how good the cast made the material.

Just finished watching Catspaw, from Star Trek Season 2..really  commonplace episode.

Not on disc, but I finished the season finale of SPARTACUS on my DVR.  Against every expectation, this show grew on me.  It's a travesty of history and unadulterated trash -- but compulsively enjoyable.  If I believed in "guilty pleasures," this would be one.

BLACK LAGOON (Season Two, Disc 1).  I really don't go for hardcore violence, language, and very adult subject matters with my anime tastes, but this was one of those very few exceptions where the characters, story, and the good production values won me over.   Plus the occasion moments of surreal black humor, like Season One's wigged-out Irish getaway driver screaming out the names of various Star Trek characters...

Sports Night, The Complete Series, Disc 1 - These shows are definitely well written and fun to watch, but I can only take the witty banter between two people in small doses. Can see a lot of Studio 60 in these.
