Just on another site and found a pic of my X-Men commission... colored in the style of the FF poster.

The guy did a pretty nice job coloring it -- although I do prefer the art in B&W :)

PS I'll hold back from posting it here -- I know JB doesn't enjoy seeing his commissions colored.

Seriously, one of the best commissions ever and it's yours, Nathan. Don't let someone's scummy behaviour reduce your enjoyment of the ORIGINAL that was actually drawn for you by JB.

Looking forward to seeing the pics of the piece in situ.

Nathan,

This commission has already nearly matched the comments brought about by "Paging Nathan Greno..."  Could you possibly have another equally inspiring commission planned for the future???

Can't wait to see pics of your game room!

Good call!  Nathan should have an open house and serve punch.  And cookies.  And cake.

A Greno party is mostly stocked with booze.

I have a handful of ideas for another commission... it will be REALLY hard to outdo this one!

Funny -- I was poking around in the Gallery this morning, and found myself looking at this piece again. And I realized there is something I have been doing in recent X-Pieces which could have. . . unpleasant consequences in the "real world". That's the multiple BAMFs I've been using to show Nightcrawler moving around within the pieces. But, as we know, when Kurt teleports, in addition to a flash and a cloud of black smoke (unpleasant enough, if you happen to be standing near to him!) there is an odor of sulphur and brimstone -- rotten eggs! Okay when he's outside, I guess, but in an "enclosed space" like this piece? Ewww!!

Just glad you didn't draw everyone in the front row holding their noses, JB!

Congrats! Now don't you just LOVE that felling of taking an hour to open it! (It will take that long because of how Jim packs it)!
