I've been using this as a warm up for inking and finally finished it.

Not in my sketchbook per se, but this is a GIF I created for my nephew, who is a big fan of Masters of the Universe:

I used some extra time to make a how-to-draw shape
monsters coloring book.

A Spider-Man I attempted. Was trying to do my best Romita Sr impression.

It's beautifully rendered, Tony. Reminds me more of Alex Ross than John Romita though. Seems a bit churlish to be throwing criticism your way for such a well-crafted piece of art, but the pose is a bit pedestrian. I feel Romita would have had him leaping or climbing a wall or slinging a web.

Thanks guys. It’s actually for a friend who asked for an updated version of that Ditko Spider-Man corner box figure. He wants to print it life size or close to it.

OK, cool. Well, it's a worthy updating of that image. I admire your use of light and shadow.

From a riveting scene, I am planning: "man shows other man a piece of paper."

Hopefully will be a bit more interesting when it's finished...
