That is so much fun! It reminds me of a OHOTMU cover. That series really helped me get into comics as a kid.

JB: Sadly, occurs to me that it won't be long before we'll be seeing
variants of this all over the place, looking like bags of M&Ms after
being colored by clowns with the deft touch of exploding Sherwin
Williams stores!!

SER: I will never comprehend why so many people believe that a work
designed for black-and-white can be "improved" upon with the
addition of color.

There was a video circulating of the opening of THE ADDAMS
FAMILY... but in COLOR. A great deal of effort had been made in
adding the colors based on what they were as filmed and the result...
was garish. Because the costume and set designers made their
choices based on an awareness that they were filming in black-and-
white.

There is a horrible rumor going around -- one that I hope is just the
whispers of nightmare -- that my favorite season of THE AVENGERS
(the fourth season and first with Diana Rigg) will be "colorized" for
Blu-Ray/digital.

One of these days, when I win the lottery, I am going to have JB create a masterpiece, like this one, for  me.  Maybe I'll commission two or three.  One of these days......one of these days.  Note to self:   start playing the lottery.

There is a subset of fandom -- I like to think it's small, but I really don't know -- that collectively views black and white as "cheap" and "unfinished." I imagine they number among those who refuse to watch black and white movies.

This is like going back to my old neighborhood and seeing all the old places looking still the same.  It feels good to seem them like this.  Alas, real life is just not so.

Thanks JB, I needed that.

This is AWESOME!!! As for the situation with Malice, I might have missed it if it hadn't been pointed out.  I like how the non-superfolk are watching on like spectators.

I love Ego, a nice pop of contrast. Such a blast to look thru the piece, especially since I've been rereading your run this week.
