For me, what resonates is that you respect the characters in both writing and drawing them. No easy task, and seemingly an approach that is far less common than it should be. You always seemed to treat your books as though you held the characters in trust, not that they were your toys--and the difference shows.

It's clearly a typo. I've amused myself by thinking it is a typo of 'dinner is sieved' and that a planet is getting dusted by Galactus' machinery.

Edited to correct a typo: oh, the goldy and silvery.

Perusing this thread just now I came upon the question about this usage.

In a nutshell, I totally stole it from Roy Thomas. The actual expression refers to something has died and passed away, or "gone the way of all flesh." Roy morphed this into ALL FLASH, referencing a comic title that had itself long since passed away.
