At least at this time of crisis, he isn't tweeting about being a ratings hit.

Oh, wait...

Is there nobody he won't stoop to blaming rather than his own incompetent and willfully ignorant self? Now he is accusing NY hospital workers of stealing supplies! A new low. Blech. Before that the shelves were left empty by Obama... could there really be someone left that listens to this man at all seriously (I mean besides the man in Arizona who took the cure his leader promised)? What a horrible person to happen to any country. From zero experience to the top job shouldn't really have been possible. It's mostly all about 'his' economy he created still, how it is being sabotaged by those who are unappreciative, stupid liberals and the evil media out to get him. Ick! :^(

Trump has always played to. Foil. Without an enemy to attack, there is
no substance to his words and nothing for listeners to latch onto.

So Trump knows South Korea better than anyone (anyone? Really?
Better than people who actually live there? This is the perfect example
of why that guy is an egotistical moron - no one would think to make
that statement is sensible. & yet he makes it about just about any topic
he speaks on).

Anyway. He goes on to say the population of Seoul is 38 million. It’s
not, it’s 9.6 million.
The Seoul capitol region is 25 million.

The BBC is convinced he read the Wikipedia page which has a line just
above the population figures.
It’s the height above sea level - 38m

Finger on the nuclear button guys & gals, finger on the nuclear button.

The border is the 38th parallel. Maybe that's what confused him.

Today I hear Trump was distracted by his impeachment and that impacted his decision with coronavirus preparations.

Fails to mention the 11 rallies and 9 rounds of golf he played.

The fucking lies continue.

Congress and Presidents are supposed to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time!  If they can't - they shouldn't be holding high office.

What an utter twat.

So he has been talking to his friends and getting
information from them that have had this, they are in
hospital, one is in coma.
He says this isn't like flu.

Because his friends are finally suffering and telling
him what it is like.

The fucking world and his advisers have been telling him
this for weeks but even last week he was using car crash
numbers as a reason to want this over by Easter.

You bastard! You utter, utter bastard!

You have totally been ignoring people who know what they
are talking about and are only listening now because
your friends are giving you first hand anecdotes.

Thousands of people are going to die because you are the
most egotistical fuckwit who lives on this planet. And
millions of other fuckwits have believe the lies you
peddle over your advisers.

I hate you. I hate you with a passion I did not know was
possible.

And I feel so sorry for the USA, that your President did
not really believe this was a problem until your death
toll had passed the total death toll of China. That he
belittled it, said it was flu, said more people die in
car crashes, said it would be over by Easter, said
governors who couldn't control it were incompetent,
blamed Obama for crying out loud. This could have been
mitigated, but the man in charge was guided by his ego
and failed you. Utterly, utterly failed you.

It's the Trump Playbook.  Start by downplaying any solid, actionable intel as "fake news" cooked up and supported by the Democrats.  Then when the real shit hits the fan, falsely call for bipartisanship while instantly jumping down the throats of any governor or mayor who has even the most insignificantly negative reaction to the NONreaction of the Trump administration (and thereby implying you must kiss the ring of the king to get what you want).  This will then help you blame those on the front lines after a time when this subsides.

Blame game doesn't stop there, however, but continues with questioning why hospitals that normally have 2 or 3 ventilators now "all of a sudden" need 30,000.  Or implying that first responders, many of whom have contracted this disease and some have already perished from it, may be sneaking masks and ventilators out the back door of the hospital supposedly to make a quick buck before they succumb.

So here's the blame list.  Feel free to add to it:
  • Impeachment (encompassing the House and Dems in the Senate). As if he can't walk and chew gum at the same time.  As if the entirety of American government was put "on hold" during the impeachment process because Trump could only devote himself to ONE thing at a time.
  • The American media, except the media that agrees with everything he says and does (vociferously, I must add)
  • Governors and Mayors in states and cities across the country, but most notably those who are Democrats.  He'll give a "pass" and think about helping if those Dems in state power are deferential to him.
  • Finally, those people on the front lines of this rapidly spreading disease who are putting their lives on the line every single second, minute, hour and day they work to SAVE LIVES because he can't understand the simple math that equates the unprecedented demand from hospitals that require ventilators for patient survival and PPE that medical personnel and first responders need TO SURVIVE as anything other than a scam happening right under our noses.
All of this to shift blame off of himself in order to justify his "reaction" as having "realized this was a pandemic before it was called a pandemic" (one of the biggest "jokes" in a litany of lies he's spewed at his "briefings") and prepping to not only blame a host of others, but claim victory as a "wartime president" for "only" having lost 100,000-200,000 American lives.

All of this, ALL OF THIS, and Trump hasn't once expressed any sort of condolence to the thousands who have already died nor to those thousands of family members and friends who are suffering in isolation because they couldn't be there at the bedside of their loved one.  Not in any White House "briefing" and certainly not in any Fox News interview.

What a fucking abomination of a president, let alone a human being.

We're in the Upside Down.

I'm seeing more and more people saying we are living in
the Upside Down.

It really is the best shorthand description of what is
going on - even the BBC news used it yesterday.
