Ms. Jansen - we're working on it, we're working on it! We'll need another couple weeks or so, but we're doing our best! :)

Apparently, Trump bringing about the end of the world is a selling point to Pat Robertson: Link

Fuck Pat Robertson and his followers.

He is a religious whore just like the other evangelical "pastors".

With the the litany of horrible, awful "end times" signs that many religious leaders are "seeing" in 2020 - why isn't the Presidency of Donald Trump one of them??

I recall some fire/brimstone types thinking the same thing about Reagan - making hay out of the fact that his first, middle, and last name each had... SIX LETTERS!

At this point, the Trump base is three pools - amoral 'fuck the libs' voters, die-hard conservative Christians, and Q-tips. I sure hope the Venn overlap between them is so large that the actual numbers of individual voters is smaller than it appears.  But MAN does it feel overwhelming to read the stats - I saw a headline (that I didn't click through on just to save me the agita) that said that 50% of Republican voters believed some aspects of QAnon.  If it's even a hundredth of that figure, it's still a depressingly large group of people whose vote counts as much - if not more, given the power imbalance embedded in the EC - than mine.

It might, in a way, suit Trump’s ego if he LOST this election. He could
run again in four years and when he wins he becomes both 45 and 47.
An extra notation in the history books.

Dave: "... 50% of Republican voters believed some aspects of QAnon."

*****

I hope that's not true! But the mere fact that a group/theory that is so batshit
crazy has any public support is a result of the dominance of social media as
well as a constant diet of anti-Democratic rhetoric coming from the
Republicans and Fox's "news" network.

Eradicating racism from modern society should be our top priority - so many
lived lost and ruined to small minded fear. But the eight years of Obama's
presidency resulted in eight years of "Democrats are evil," which was their way
of saying "we hate people of color." At least with Trump, he is overt in his
racism so we can see the source of what Republicans have been doing for a
long time. That eight years of the Obama presidency is a microcosm of the
same old white supremecist strategy.

Let's face it - the Democrats aren't organized enough to be evil! Their problem
is sincerely trusting that these con artists will play by the rules.

Pat Robertson incorrectly making predictions of disasters that he claims were told to him by God is not a new thing.  Presumably God is lying to Robertson just to mess with him.

While accusing Democrats of being pedophiles, Qanon followers should take a moment to read the latest headline that the DOJ cannot find the parents of over 500 children separated from their parents at the border.
