Brian (Miller)... have you considered an absentee ballot? I don't ask this to be glib, but your circumstances would surely warrant looking into that as an option.

I'm saddled with that identical schedule, Brian. I went to absentee ballots a few years ago.

I HAVE considered the absentee ballot, but not enough to actually pursue this mode of voting. Until now. I've always been wary of it. What if it gets lost in the mail... that type thing.

Election Day should be a national holiday...or on Saturdays!

In California voters can check online to make sure their ballot has been received.

Apparently, in TN you can NOT drop it off in person. It has to be mailed. I guess they figure that if you can go there to drop it off, you can go there to vote.

I wonder if anyone in TN has considered the time difference in dropping off a ballot in person and voting in person. It's an assumption, but my guess there is a bit of a difference.

Pence was just named the head of our revamped space program.
He's probably a flat-earther.

He definitely believes in intelligent design. If you believe in ID you have to reject all aspects of science that led to a space program and allowed it to make any achievements. But heck, maybe we can get to Mars on "God did it".
