Week 17 results :
Ravens at Bengals : if disapointment is not too heavy L Way to much Flacconneries (french joke)
Texans at Titans : Houson will rest their core D players and keep their QB safe W much of stuff in this game, another One and Done coming for these offenseless Texans
Panthers at Buccaneers : W 6-10 ouch, Cam back in years 1-3
Jaguars at Colts : W
Patriots at Dolphins : who has the best reserve team ? 14-2 sounds good for Garopolo W Brady had still records to brake. Edelman was huge, LeGarette is a beast, this D is amazing (we should be talking threepeat, Bill :(
Bears at Vikings : W with this D back...easier
Bills at Jets : to check if the players tank to get Rexit ;) L
Cowboys at Eagles : first 14-2 ever ? with so many starters off ? L why start Dak to spoil my fellow JBFers pick ? Then check if Romo still has it then throw what was left of Sanchize career away ? There is a 3-headed monster in the backfield anyway !!!
Browns at Steelers : W but much closer than expected, Pats way to the SB is a highway
Saints at Falcons : upset special in this shootout where the Falcons plays the bye L but I got my shootout
Giants at Redskins : match of the week, yearly division final in Glamour D L feel sorry for Kirk but this D will be a factor in these playoffs...rendez-vous in the SB with my Pats for Brady-Eli III ?
Cardinals at Rams W
Raiders at Broncos W Carrless...
Chiefs at Chargers W they are for real with these weapons now, have to check if they meet NE before the conference
Seahawks at 49ers W but close, one and done in the playoffs ?
Packers at Lions W always the same...Aaron is magnificent
Kevin Hagerman wins it with a Cowboyesque 13-3, his 4th of the year
Rick Senger my rival, Kevin Brown, myself and....a new player for this week 17, Joe Boster (good for us he started so late ;), welcome on board for the playoffs, Joe !!!) finish strong at 12-4 but too late to small to change anything. Rick finishes (like Brad) with a 7 week streak of 10+ !!! Congrats anyway !
Doug Centers, Anthony Lombardi and Matt Reed are 11-5 for him
Brad Brickley, Rich Marzullo, Andy Meyers and Brian Floyd score 10-6
Allan Somerhall score 8-8
Overall and final ranking :
Doug Centers wins it with 170-83. First ranked since week 4, he scored 6 times the week's best score. Congrats for the upset as he finished 10th last year with 146-109, what an improvement, will he pass the drug test ? I hope we will get a few words and recipe success from our new champ !
Rick Senger finishes very strong and only two picks behind Doug 168-85, he was officially 7th (but 2nd if not a picking mistake) last year with 151-90 (158-98) and co-winner two years ago (with me !)
Anthony Lombardi is on the podium with 165-88. Leader the first three weeks, he finishes with 6 10+ weeks so has lost his chances in the mid-season. Great imporvement too as he finished 11th lats year with 143-112.
Kevin Brown, ranks 4th with 163-90, and, to my suprise, was not the holder as I wrote so often (this proves nobody reads me !!!), as he finished tied 5th last year with 152-104. He would have won with this score this year, we're gettin better folks !
Kevin Hagerman, our master of ceremony, finishes 5th at 159-94, his last year's ranking but at 152-104.
Brad Brickley is 6th at 158-95, he was 7th with 151-105
Rich Marzullo follows 7th with 157-96, he was 9th at 149-107
Brian Floyd is 8th at 151-102, he was 4th at 153-103, so remained at his level
Matt Reed is 9th at 150-104, he was 3rd at 155-101
I am 10th at 148-103, I was second last year at 156-100
Allan Somerhall finishes in the All Pro Team as 11th for his first year with us, congrats you got 143-109
and Andy Meyers is our last regular player with 130-111.
This was a great football year.
And now, enjoy the last 11 best games of the season (no, I don't watch the Pro/Holiday Bowl) !!!
Go Pats !
