My pick is Atlanta in a blowout. Very little reason to watch the second half. They're doing no wrong right now.

GO Hawks! Or is it Braves? I forget, but I'm rooting for them!

I really don't care, I'm just glad the Packers are not there.

Be that as it may, I'd be tickled pink to see Brady lose another Super Bowl.

I really can't make a prediction, because I don't know who is going to win. BUT....

I expect it to be a close game. Not a blowout.

My guess: 7 to 14 pt difference if the Falcons win. Only 3 to 10 if the Patriots win.

This is the falcons year. As bad as the Steelers looked the Pats didn't look particularly sharp to me. A great team but not an unbeatable one. Falcons D will get scored on but no huge plays. That said whoever makes the first mistake. (Fumble,INT, Saftey) will lose.

Falcons   30
NE   26

Going with the Falcons and figure it'll be a fairly close game as well. I'm gonna say 27-21 Falcons.

I can't pick against my team in the big game. Falcons 28-26.

The Falcons will be wearing red jerseys, while the Patriots will be wearing white. (I wish the Falcons had opted for the black jerseys....)

The black just throwback jerseys.  The only choice should be red or white.

Falcons definitely looked sharper last Sunday but I can't go against my team (no delusion my actions / beliefs influence the outcome in any way, but I'd feel terrible if I went against them and they lost.)  One edge for New England is their firmer grasp on the craziness of the moment.  Hoping that, Brady and an underrated defense will be enough.

31-27 Patriots

Just to point out I said this back during Wild Card Weekend:

"Probable Super Bowl: Falcons v Patriots"

The team that scores the most points.

I'm hoping for the Falcons, but I'm not gonna pick against The Patriots. I've been burned too many times picking against them.

Well gentlemen we had a good game. Lady Gaga was wonderful. Time to look towards the off season than next season.

My Giants may not have won but for the most part it was a fun season. It's nice to be able to go into the off season with some good feelings about next year.

I have to rant a little more. A couple weeks ago the Chiefs had a holding penalty on a 2-pt conversion that cost them the game. Notice on the 2nd 2-pt try, after the flag is thrown the Falcons' players were sure the Pats had been called for blocking before the pass on a screen (Which I think is offensive interference, it's the anti-Aaron Rodgers rule), but it didn't get called. The NFL has to be the worst league when it comes to consistently calling penalties. And it's very rare that the underdog gats a close call. Granted, it isn't all bad calls, and you have to get yourself close enough to win. But still, despite my love of the Indians, and being heartbroken when they lost the World Series, I didn't think they got robbed.

This is why I've watched less NFL games this year than in recent history, and continue to lose interest in the game.

Oh, and throw in the worst overtime rules in professional sports, too! What a poor way to end a season.
