BTW, Cavill has been teasing Green
Lantern on his Twitter feed. Maybe just a
post credit scene but I think we will see
him at some point.

Not optimistic about this one at all.

Nice footage of Gal Gadot and other JUSTICE LEAGUE cast meme=bers interacting with young fans this past weekend in San Diego at Comic Con:

Yup.  That's the good stuff right there!

So much to like (or dislike) about what these movies do for the characters.  But the interactions you can find with the actors and the young fans is always awesome.  There is video of a young disabled fan chatting with the JL cast at SDCC.  If that don't make your heart swell up you are probably dead and don't know it.

Ben Affleck speaks about JUSTICE LEAGUE and having two directors:

LINK.

From the article:

Affleck: "... I really love working with Zack, and I really love the stuff we’ve done with Joss..."

I confess to likely reading into this, but I found the phrasing here interesting. Affleck says he "love working with Zack," but says "I really love the stuff we've done with Joss," which seems to make a distinction about the work, and whom one is working with. It's a diplomatic comment, but I can't help but note that Affleck doesn't say anything about the stuff he did with Zack, just that he likes working with the man.

Regardless, I'm curious as to how this all turns out.

My guess would be simply that Ben has had a stronger kinship with Zack Snyder over the past few years, whereas Whedon is the "new guy" in the mix, and they're all still getting used to the odd, unenviable dynamic that the film has been thrust into.

Pretty sure it's not meant as any sort of dig.

I love studying language/meaning as much as anyone, but I don't see any dig/agenda/subtle remark in there.

He does call the final project (two directors and all) "interesting", which is as loaded a term as they come.

I've only just looked at the most recent trailer but the amount of Wonder Woman featured surely has to be down to the success of her solo outing. Just wonder if she really will be such a prominent character.

Apparently, Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor has either been cut out of or possibly even never shot for Justice League.... good news if true.

Also, test screening suggests that audiences found the film to be "epic."

Even though everyone hated his movie, a Ryan Reynolds cameo as Green Lantern in the main body of JUSTICE LEAGUE would be the greatest bring-the-audience-to-its-feet movie moment since the Millennium Falcon showed up at the trench battle in STAR WARS.

My guess, just by their social media
offerings, is that Armie Hammer will be
Green Lantern, at least he's one of them.
Some rumors have both John Stewart and Hal
Jordan showing up in the film.

Reading deeper into the test screening,
the audience members interviewed were said
to have really disliked Batman v Superman
and Suicide Squad but loved Justice
League. I'm pretty hopeful about this one,
now.

Ryan Reynolds is perfectly happy as Deadpool....so no Green Lantern cameos by him (but it would make a freakin awesome surprise).

I also think a cameo by both Hal Jordan and John Stewart would be the perfect door opener for DC's second phase.

I like Hal Jordan because he is "my" Green Lantern, but John Stewart has always been such a great hardboiled character. I can totally see Idris Elba in this role.

Latest news is that Warner Bros. is planning to deemphasize the idea of a shared universe. The idea won’t be scrapped completely, but expect movies after JUSTICE LEAGUE to feel more standalone like Wonder Woman going forward. (the upcoming Aquaman film isn't obligated to mention events from JL.)

“Moving forward, you’ll see the DC movie universe being a universe, but one that comes from the heart of the filmmaker who’s creating them.” DC Ent. president Diane Nelson stated.

So, the opposite as what Marvel does.

I think that move allows them to put out movies faster.
No need to wait to have a screenplay that works inside the shared universe.  Just make the movie and claim that the director has free reign to do as he/she pleases.

Of course they will tie into a bigger overall universe when it looks like doing so will boost the box office.  So for now look for Wonder Woman to appear in everything....and have selective amnesia about what she has done in the past and with whom.

Couldn't they do both? Marvel are kind of doing that - to date Doctor Strange and GOTG don't really tie in to the others although I appreciate that will soon change - and if they are cute they will continue in that vein post-Infinity War.

Doctor Strange shows up (briefly?) in THOR: RAGNAROK.

Even the removal of Zack Snyder won't make me see JUSTICE LEAGUE. Not only does "the Flash" not look like the Flash, he doesn't look at all like Barry Allen (or Wally West or ANY Flash). That's enough to make me say "no thanks."

"Couldn't they do both?"

Well....Marvel seems to be doing it based on their clearly long thought out plan.

DC seems to be flying by the seat of their pants and the results of the WW box office.

I think Disney needs to buy WB and have Thor show up in JUSTICE LEAGUE 2.

Asgard VS Atlantis would be pretty cool, right?

Robbie, I envision this scene...
Odin: "My warriors, the varlets of the Midgard subsea empire of Atlantis have declared war on us! We must defend ourselves!"
Thor: "All-Father, All-Wise one, creator of the worlds and wielder of the Odinpower... hold my grog."
Lightning storm strikes in Atlantis, propagated by the effect of electricity in water.
Odin: "Victory!"
Asgardians: "For Midgard! For Thor! For Odin!"

I'd be very happy if Michael Rosenbaum was (once again) Lex Luthor in future DCEU movies.

I'm starting to see some positive comments about the film elsewhere on the 'net, based on a partial screening in China. Fingers crossed.

From the previews I seen, the mere sight of Aquaman saying, "My Man!" is enough to make this a HBO viewing in August 2018.

But my wife's company is renting out a theatre next week for a private viewing, so I'm going for the freebies!

Nuff said.

Might be time for the "spoiler warnings" to be added!
