The latest trailer-

Disappointed that THIS is how most people are going to discover Adam Strange. (Guessing they'll use some stuff from JBís ďThe World of KryptonĒ so.... more free money, JB!!)

As noted, I am curious to see how DC/Warner pays me on this one.

With Adam Strange from the future as a character, Iíd be concerned that this will be like ENTERPRISE and include a lot of the Superman mythos before it actually happens.

I was going to ignore this, but then I saw Georgina Campbell in BLACK MIRROR and might tune in for her.

For crying out loud! Will we in the UK EVER be allowed to see a trailer for this series?

For all the Superman comics I've read over the years, the Krypton-centric stuff usually leaves me cold. Where has Jor-El's father appeared before?

Brian O - Jor-El I was in the 1979 World of Krypton mini-series. I believe he also appeared in "The Sons of Superman" (Superman #166) as a statue. Aside from that... I can't think of anywhere else.

I guess that since "Gotham" is still on the air, apparently with a satisfied audience, somebody thinks that it'll work for Krypton also. But I wonder how much interest it'll generate?

"Gotham" is ongoing, and while we know what the last episode they're going to show will be, the story will continue. "Krypton" will have a very definite ending, so how much can they cram in?

Then again... I'm not very fond of "Gotham" from what I've seen. Maybe there's plenty of filling for such a sandwich based on Krypton. But I don't think it'll be to my taste...

How much they can "cram in" depends on when they start. My WORLD OF KRYPTON miniseries began thousands of years in the past, and I had room for lots of stuff!

Michael Roberts - thanks. Yes I can see that one.

Not sure what I think now, though

Methinks there is more of the super-model than the Superman about this project. Smallville was bad enough, so if this is going to be more sickeningly good-looking angsty teenagers pouting at one another while discussing their feelings, just on Krypton rather than Earth, then I'm out.

For any Lobo fans around here:

"SYFY and DC Entertianment annoucned at the Krypton Comic-Con panel that the intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo is making his way to the series. The character will be the big bad for new season, with casting still underway."

And this is how you make the prequel from Hell: load it full of contemporary characters even though it's set many years in the past.

The lead character is Superman's grandfather. Jor-El is not even born. Yet we have Brainiac, General Zod and now Lobo.

I thought I was going to dislike KRYPTON, but I found myself liking it. Itís definitely not GOTHAM where they try to do Batman stories without Batman. The Superman villains who have appeared all tie in to Kryptonís history, so their appearances donít seem forced. Iím pretty neutral on Lobo.

They have a tie to Krypton's history, but not when Superman's grandfather was around!

Agreed. Zod was inevitable, Brainiac is fine, Lobo...is not fine.

I watched one episode. I was bored. Haven't watched any subsequent episodes.

Just watched episode one, it was average, i have too
much better stuff to watch to invest in this.
Yet again, we see `futuristic` (I know it`s set in the
past!) architecture with narrow walkways hundreds of
feet in the air and no guard rails!

Kryptonians either have perfect balance. Or very incompetent insurance companies.
