More Frazetta

Frank Frazetta's granddaughter is going to be at the Motor City con. this weekend, with original artwork from Frank. I better leave my credit cards at home!

I know nothing about that image except that it's a charcoal head by Max Turner. And that I dig it.

I wonder if that Max Turner piece was an exercise in not lifting the charcoal stick off the paper.

Interesting thought!

By the way, do you (or did you) sometimes indulge yourself in those kind of exercises, Mr. Byrne?

A sweet sketch by Justin Gerard. I love the craft paper-brown pencil- white pencil combo.

Wow, a stunner from Kirby!  I love love love the pencil versions of Jack's art.  Very few, if any, artists ever captured Black Bolt like Kirby did - maybe Steve Rude came closest to the pure power of Kirby.
