I took this test, knowing I would not do well, since I haven't read an X-Man comic in many years. I got 40% right.

You fared better than me. 36%. None of them in any way
compelled me to want to read any X-book.

I got 40%. I guessed on all but one and on that one, recognized one of the names and chose it. If it wasn't multiple choice, I wouldn't have gotten any.

Staggeringly I also got 40%. I only knew one and guessed the rest.

Did leave me cold though.

I didn't recognize a single character, but a few good guesses got me a 48% score and an overall feeling of satisfaction that I don't read X-comics.

I got 68%, though there was a lot of guessing in there for me, too.

I have to admit to a soft spot for Forget-Me-Not.  In his first appearance, it was revealed that he had been an X-man for 6 years, but his mutant power is that nobody remembers him, and he is blanked out from recording devices.  So he apparently saves the X-Men all the time, and then they forget about it.

52% but I only really knew four of them. At least some weren't hard to guess based on the image provided.

Most of these characters are just disposable Xavier School students.

Steve, I've heard of Forget-Me-Not once before and I think it's such an interesting/tragic idea/power. He must live a very lonely life.

44% mostly by luck than knowledge! Three things struck
me,they are really scraping the barrel for powers, they
are really scraping the barrel for code names and i find
the art really ugly and not to my taste,i guess i`ve
been spoiled by the likes of J.B.,Dave Cockrum,George
Perez,Walt Simonson,The Romitas and Buscemas to name a
few!

Scored a whopping 4 %. Had no idea who any of these were. Long time since I've read an X-Men comic. And I feel in no big hurry to pick one up again...

One of the characters was a mutant whose power was to explode -- only he could not reconstitute after doing so.

I was immediately reminded of the joke that used to be around the Marvel offices when I was starting out -- that there was a third Summers brother who had exploded upon reaching puberty.

I also found myself wondering exactly how this character would know he had this power?

Feels similar to the Silence from Doctor Who.

PS. 28%, I think I knew 2 of them.

36% - Guessed on nearly everything. I did know the 1 or 2 from Morrison's run, which I read.

(And I guess we can't say creators at Marvel aren't creating new characters these days!)
