Three times today I have attempted to access this website only to be bombarded by a cascade of bogus warnings that my "Android" computer has been infected with a virus, and I must call a provided number immediately or my computer will be "locked".

This is in multiple layers, the first one warning I have caught 4 viruses, the second 3, the third 2 -- but no end in sight. I have to quit the internet to escape.

No other sites I visit are presenting this problem. Anybody else seeing it?

Nothing here so far, for me.  Definitely get that checked-out ASAP.

No problem on my end. I don't think it's the website.

I haven't had any issues, either.

Just tried again, and this time got a torrent of "congratulations" from the likes of Amazon and Wal-Mart telling me I've won $100 gift cards

Sure.

No problems for me visiting the site either on my desktop PC (using windows) nor on my android phone nor on my android tablet. Nasty cookie/soft virus?

Try running Malwarebytes Anti-malware program. Usually works on stuff like this.

It was fine when I checked just now. Lots of ads on the page, but no pop-ups.

I have, on occasion, had a 'congratulations you have won an iphone' message appear on my iPhone. Usually when it happens it becomes associated with a specific website.

It seemed to be that that website was allowing unscrupulous people to send push notes to my phone . On a whim one day I resPended and a few days later someone phoned my iPhone wanting all my details so I gave them false ones purely as an exercise.

At the end, they said I had been entered into a lottery syndicate that had a monthly subscription and so they would need my bank details.

Yeah, so they would have my name, address, DOB and then my bank details. How stupid did they think I was?

What they had was complete false info. I hung up and tried to dial the number they had dialled from - didn't exist. The pop up messages stopped and I reset my iPhone

I have recieved text messages recently one supposedly
from HMRC(Tax Office) telling me i was owed a 246 tax
rebate with an email link, then a couple of days later
a text supposedly from the DVLA(Driver and vehicle
licensing agency) saying they had been trying to
contact me as a matter of urgency and it was my last
chance, also with an email link! Now,as the above
organisations have ALL my details EXCEPT my mobile
number,i was a tiny bit suspicious! A quick Google
search on both occasions revealed it to be a scam.
Then there`s the landline calls telling me my computer
was infected and for a fee they could put it right! My
mom who doesn`t own a computer has had these calls!
Then there`s the cold calls from companies that
blatantly lie to you, saying `we`re calling concerning
your recent accident/motor accident`
If i get one o those calls and they just say
`accident` i string them along as long as possible
before revealing that the accident was soiling my
pants!

Meanwhile, I checked on my actual computer, rather than my iPhone, and there is no problem. The iPhone continues to be vexed.

Where a mouse driven computer has an advantage over a smart phone or tablet is that you can hover the mouse over a link and the actual link address will pop up in the left hand corner of the screen. Really useful for spotting spam links that have fot through your spam filter

JB: "I don't want a computer made out of artificial organs!"

Absolutely. Get one made of a real piano. Then you can ply two occupations at once!

I don't have any weird messages on my Windows 10 Desktop Computer or on my Android / Motorola phone.
I don't have an apple anymore, but I have tested on my iPad and the site works just fine.
