A UK annual I once owned claimed Spider-Man could lift ten tons. I don't know if that's his current power level, but it did get me thinking about who's stronger than him (heroes) in the Marvel Universe. Ten tons is nothing to be ashamed of, eh?
Way I see it, and I'm including only heroes and not villains, the following heroes are all stronger than Spider-Man:
Thor Hulk Thing Namor Hercules Vision
I can't think of anyone else who is stronger than the web-slinger. Does Iron Man count given he's only strong when his armour is working (and can his armour lift ten tons or more?).
I could only think of the six above. That means if they did a top ten list of the strongest Marvel heroes, the web-slinger would be in that top ten. Way to go, Spider-Man!
I left Captain America off because I'd bet money he isn't stronger.
So, is my list of six complete? Or have I forgotten someone?

Captain America is at the peak of human fitness and strength, but he cannot lift ten tons (approximately Spider-Man's strength level).
Other heroes stronger than Spider-Man:
She-Hulk Doc Samson Colossus Sasquatch Rogue Iron Man (in Hulkbuster armor at least) Hulkling Hyperion Sentinel

Others at the same level as Spidey:
Ghost Rider (Dan Ketch) M (Generation X) Jack Flag (RIP) Machine Man Mondo (Generation X) Spider-Woman (Mattie Franklin) Tigra US Agent
Mar-Vell could lift 25 tons, as could Sharon Ventura (She-Thing) Pixie from JB's First Line is rated at lifting 12 tons
You can find out a lot more about the Marvel strength scale here: here

Spider-Man ranked himself as a middleweight a long time ago, and that's where he's been for nearly all of his career.
Lots of heroes and villains are physically stronger, but nobody really has his combination of intelligence, unconventional weaponry, agility and experience. In Spider-Man's case, strength is perhaps one of his least remarkable attributes.

Stan and Steve were mixing up their bugs when they gave Spider-Man super strength. Spiders are proportionately very weak. It's their webbing that is super strong. (Curiously, Ant-Man didn't get the enormous proportionate strength of his namesakes.)

Prince Namor is stronger than Spider-Man. According to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe. He can press 75 tons while in contact with water.

I always liked this image, even though it's quite dated now.

Wow, I didn't know how wrong I was.
Whilst I assumed Colossus, Sasquatch and others were more Cap-level strength, or just a tad less strong than Spider-Man, how could I forget She-Hulk and Samson?

I love this old one!
Back when it was drawn, in 1964, I suppose it was true (as long as you wouldn't count the Submariner as a superhero).
But even if true, from Spider-Man to the Hulk was a chasm!
