I'm watching Star Trek: Beyond the Final Frontier. A remind to those who don't remember it was a 2 hour documentary that covered the then 40 year history of Star Trek. It originally aired 2-19-07. It covering the huge auction at Christie's.

There were some great pieces sci fi  history in that auction.  I would have loved to own a piece.

Other than the TOS Enterprise. If you could own one single prop from all of Star Trek history. What would that piece be?

I want to exclude the Enterprise because it seems to me that would probably be the most reoccurring answer.

Oh I didn't even think about that. Can you imagine bumping into it in the middle of the night. That'll wake you up for sure.

I thought of several possibilities but narrowed it down by trying to imagine what would be the easiest to properly display.

Spock's Vulcan Lyre would be good

Spock's science station.  If that's too generalized, then his scanning box / hood, which seemed to produce 50% of all the information / readings on planets, life forms and general scientific exposition.

I retract my previousstatement on here of transporter console... upon further examination of my back yard, I've decided to go with 'shuttlecraft'. It'll make one helluva man-shed/tiki bar with a few modifications...

I'll take the D7 Klingon cruiser model.  I might as well have it, if the Smithsonian can't be bothered to display it.
