A reminder, once again, that impeachment is not the same as removal from office. An impeachment is a hearing to decide whether further steps, up to and including removal, are warranted.

"On every side..." - pandering to every single voter, as if he thinks he has a chance to be president in 2021.••• Like he had no chance in 2016?

Thank you. I must admit, I was careless with using the terms interchangeably. It's not that long ago that Clinton underwent the impeachment process (late 90s, right?).

Understood, Wallace, but I'm still flabbergasted at the coordinated effort & scope of the alt-right knuckleheads... and seeing them armed with shields, batons & pepper spray, and attacking the counter-protesters...
Just can't believe it's come to this in 2017. But then you have a President who emboldened these racists during his entire campaign, and has never been quick to unequivocally condemn them, either.
Hey, Trump supporters... happy now?

True. Yet he will unequivocally condemn Arnie regarding THE APPRENTICE. Or an SNL performer.
I bet you any money that the likes of Mike Pence are embarrassed by him. I would not be surprised (if only I could morph into a fly on a wall) to learn that the likes of Pence have probably politely told him to tone down his Twitter rhetoric.
45 has ZERO understanding of diplomacy. He will fuck up a potential trade deal between the UK and US with his rhetoric. God, I hope he resigns or is kicked out soon.

Mr. Byrne: "Like he had no chance in 2016?"
After everything he has done in 200 days, he's proven how terrible, loathsome, and despicable he is. How could he possibly be president in 2021?
Just like 2017... sir, you scare me!

Here in Britain, I had a debate with some Trump supporters (yes, they exist over here). It didn't end well.
And then I chatted to some anti-Trump people at work and elsewhere. One guy said to me, "They'll vote for Trump despite his policies."
I said to him, "Anthony, what do you mean despite? They'll be voting for him BECAUSE of his policies and views."
His actions are influential and affect the world. They created a Frankenstein's Monster in him. I won't forgive the establishment that did that.

Charlottesville. 150 years later and they're still fighting the Civil War. Truly, nothing ever ends.

Mr. Byrne: "What about 70 years?"
Of course. I only meant in his position of less power and influence as President of the United States. He surely has established his terribleness, loathsomeness and despicability long before he swore to serve this country... on the Bible... which, I reckon, shows that he lied from literally day one.
