I'm sure this is an auto-correct error, but y'know, Mom warned me to stay away from those New York City girls...

And now Gene Simmons is banned for life from all Fox News properties for walking into a meeting showing his old man tits and announcing "hey chicks, sue me!" Banned from Fox News for showing his moobs. If he grabbed some 14-year-old pussy while jamming his tongue down some chick's throat, that would be ok...

It is bizarre that the one who self confessed to ‘just walk up and grab them by the xxxxx’ is the one that survives. He has self confessed to way worse than someo fthosenthat have fallen have been accused of and yet he still survives.

Locker talk my ass.

He’s on video saying talking about a young girl that she should look him up in a few years.

And yet he survives.

Matt, oddly enough I shared an article about this on my Facebook feed with the exact same phrase, "et tu, Charlie Rose?" Then came here to add it to this thread and see you've already shared a link exactly the same way I did. Rose was kind of a shocker, wasn't he? The article I read also mentioned that he had a horrible temper. It's kind of hard to picture that guy exposing himself to women and blowing up in anger. He seems so normal and boring on his, now canceled, show. Like Franken, he is also a big supporter of women's rights, which shows he's a massive hypocrite. I guess this exemplifies how deceiving someone's appearance or the public's perception of someone can be. When I heard of Bill O'Reilley exploding on set or harassing women it kind of fit his image. Of course, since he's on a right wing network, they just spent millions to pay off the women and he netted a huge contract even after his scandals. Where the left tends to deal much more harshly with accusations of abuse as Rose has already discovered.

I agree, I was shocked by the Charlie Rose thing. Crazy!

I think the biggest thing that has broken from this on BOTH sides, is that those who have the "holier than thou" attitude (for a guy like O'Reilly who was always "looking out for the folks" or Rose who condemned those accused) when it comes to sexual harassment then have to eat crow when their own accusations come out. Why not just cut out the condescension and just do the right thing by NOT ACTING THAT WAY TO BEGIN WITH?!?!? Respecting women is not some novel, new concept. The fear of getting exposed isn't a good reason not to harass women.

I don't want you to think that I quoted you, Shane, to disagree. I agree with you. I lean to the right politically and hate to see either side have to defend/justify/make excuses whenever someone chooses to do these awful things. Those that seek to divide us make fodder from these scenarios in order to divide us more when we all know that ANY form of harassment is wrong.

A week ago the Charlie Rose Show probably would have killed to land an interview with Louis CK. Today the show needs to interview Charlie Rose.

Damn.

Everyday we are waking up to even more allegations of inappropriate behavior and unwanted sexual advances. The dominoes are falling and I wonder who is next?

Although she didn't call him out by name, Wendy Williams claims (more like strongly hints at) that comedian Gilbert Gottfried groped her on live TV.

I was very confused by this one, since I couldn't see Wendy O Williams complaining about being groped until I watched the clip.

It's not just a European thing. That's the Wendy Williams I think of as well. I haven't even heard of talk show host Wendy Williams but I definitely remember Wendy O. Williams.

Some have pointed out that there may be a problem on the executive
level at NBC also. Recall that it was NBC that passed on Ronin
Farrow’s expose about Harvey Weinstein and delayed the
Trump/Access Hollywood story. Now it seems like many people were
aware of Lauer’s conduct, but tolerated because he made the network
so much money.

*********

Isn't THAT the reasoning for most of these cases in Hollywood???

Plenty of people are probably accessories to these gross cases of harassment.

Doug, Singer's firing doesn't seem to have anything to do with sexual harassment.

According to another insider, Singer has claimed he is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder because of the tensions on the set.

The new excuse for everything.

Gabriel Byrne now has publicly confirmed a story I heard a long time ago from someone who worked on Usual Suspects.  Bryan Singer had a teenaged "companion" staying in his trailer during filming.  Spacey supposedly got the boy intoxicated and used him for himself, which led to Singer locking himself in his trailer and filming coming to a stop.  The screenwriter then had to direct the scene where the docks explode.  I remember Kevin Pollak made vague allusions to it in his autobiography, but said he couldn't tell the story.  Now Byrne has talked about it too.

Singer was warned before shooting that unprofessional
behaviour wouldn`t be tolerated? Does that not suggest
he has previous form for it?
