Even though my Dodgers lost last night, just want to say this has been an incredible series so far and last night was one of the most dramatic baseball games I've ever seen.

I always wondered why it was called the World Series. So I used Google:

Not a criticism, by the way. "World" is used generically at times, but not at others. The World Cup of football (soccer) does indeed feature teams from around the world, but a quasi-sport like wrestling has "world champions" who are really only champions for a particular company - and don't defend the belt around the world.

Fun series.
Do not, repeat, do not miss an inning!

My old self still kind of sees 2 National League teams playing out there.

Me too.  Of course, I grew up watching Nolan Ryan in his rainbow sherbet shirt top and as untraditional as that uni was, everything else just seems wrong.
