We could run a parallel thread about "faceless" characters who were "fixed" in other media. INSPECTOR GADGET's Claw in the movie. THE SPIRIT's Octopus in the film abomination. Stretching a point, Judge Dredd in Stallone's impersonation. And maybe every movie superhero who sheds his mask at every opportunity.

So, what we got?

I can't think of any to add to that so far.

Regarding Claw, he got a "face" when they made an action figure of him, but I don't think action figures can be canonical for all sorts of reasons. Obviously, his face was shown in the theatrical movie.

I cannot believe so much of JUDGE DREDD featured Stallone with the helmet off. I understand why (I'm told the studio wanted their actor's face shown throughout the movie). Shame, really, art sacrificed for studio whims/greed.

Anyway, be interesting if we came up with a list, eh?
