Rearranging my Brad Cave to set up my new surround system and as is often the case I got sidetracked by my books. I had picked up my copy the Romulans treasury comic and then my IDW John Byrne Star Trek Collection book.
I just love these stories and wanted to say thanks again to JB for these wonderful and intriguing stories. Just fun and exciting reading!

Glad they're fun for you, cuz they were super fun for me. And, in my best Leonard McCoy voice, "Dammit, fun is why I got into this budiness!"

Comixology had a Star Trek sale so I bought every New Visions volume. Have not read them yet but looking forward to them.

Comixology is paper or digital?

Digital. It's the only way I can easily get comics overseas.

Hm, interesting. I did not know about this before. New Visions is well represented. It certainly looks like a fantastic tool to explore various comics, but I still love the smell of paper when I buy something to read.

Most complaints -- few as they are -- have come from people who read NEW VISIONS digitally, where it is too bright and zoomable. Not the format for which it was intended!

Those complaints Iím assuming are coming from idiots who donít understand the technology then.

Too bright? Turn the brightness of the screen down.
Too zoomable? Donít use guided reading mode which goes from panel to panel.
I read digital comics on a 12.8 inch iPad and they look fantastic. New Visions also looks fantastic - very, very rich.

I buy the physical copies and have bought the digital versions when there have been in sales. With the amount of travelling I do, getting into digital comics has been a revelation. And the sales that Comixology keep having has allowed me to rediscover some incredible stories from my childhood, that currently just clutter my house in boxes.
