Be nice to see the Golden Knights get at least one more win in this series, they had enough skill to make it this far...

An unreal experience last night. In 28 years as fan, it felt like the Stanley Cup was never going to come to Washington!

You can thank me for that! A while back I surfed into a game, watched for a while, and the Caps won. Jim Warden, super Caps fan, noticed this, and reminded me every time a game was on. Every time I was able to watch, they won.

So, of course they won the Stan Lee Cup!!

I'm so happy for Jim and Scott (and the Caps). They
have been waiting their whole lives for this.

For me, the NHL playoffs are the most entertaining in professional sports. Last night's game between the Stars and the Blues was Game 7 magic. Truly fun to watch, a double overtime affair that just kept me on the edge of my seat. Add to that those games generally have the least amount of commercial interruption (though the networks are working hard on that) and hockey remains king of the team sports hill. Cannot wait for tonight's game between the Avalanche and the Sharks!

This is a tough playoffs for me, since any team I might have had the slightest interest in was eliminated during the first round. I agree though that Hockey is still the best team sport, especially on television. Always surprised that more Americans don't watch.

Since the Caps have been out since the first round, I've been rooting for the Blues (coached by one of my favorite ex-Caps, The Chief Craig Berube!).
