There are a ton of the heavy hitters on here (Cheers, Family Ties, Magnum P.I.) that I loved.  These were not huge ratings grabbers but I loved them:

- Saturday Night's Main Event (WWF Wrestling)
- Tour of Duty
- He Man & The Masters of the Universe
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Saturday Night Live (Dana Carvey, Phil Hatman, etc).

Guilty pleasure as a kid: Jem & The Holograms!  It was not cool for a boy to watch it (probably same goes these days for a 40-something man).

Streethawk
Knight Rider
Airwolf
Automan
Tales Of The Gold Monkey
240 Robert
The Phoenix (all 5 episodes)
Night Court
Fall Guy
Magnum PI
Star Trek:TNG
Fraggle Rock

Animated:
Drak Pack
G.I. Joe
Transformers
M.A.S.K.

Well, that at least puts a dent in it.
It was a good enough decade that my 8 yr
old wishes he had been born early enough
to live through it.

Watched it as a kid too. I also remember going to the cinema to watch the She-Ra movie and afterwards feeling embarrassed I'd watched it.

I love how over the top and high concept some TV shows were in the 80s. examples: Knight Rider, The A - Team, Blue Thunder, Miami Vice, etc. sometimes it's nice to watch an all-action show without it having to have some cerebral element to it.
