The presidency, yes. Mar-a-Lago, not so much so. And since that is where he spends so much of his time, he's probably a good deal more rested than many others who've held the office.

He also seems largely untroubled by the notion of consequence or conscience, something that may have worn more heavily upon those with a capacity for it.

How long does it take to change an amendment? If he starts pushing now, maybe he can get a THIRD term.

******

Thanks JB, I'm gonna have nightmares about that.... gives me chills just reading it!

A 2 term trump is bad for the world, God help us if a 2rd term becomes possible. As for the presidency wreaking havoc on his physical person, I don't think it will effect him the way it has other Presidents because he actually does not care about the country enough to be effected. The only thing that comes close to bothering him is personal attacks and they just fuel his narcissistic personality.

In all seriousness, I'm having a hard time thinking he'll even finish his first term.

Robbie P.: "I can imagine him implying... that voting was rigged."

Are you kidding? He declared the voting was rigged in 2016, and he WON that election! "Three million illegal voters"... yeah, I WISH three million more had shown up. Maybe with some common sense...

Pissing off snobby news casters, Hollywood actors, the
music industry, career politicians on the left and
right, has been a joy to watch.

Saw someone post this on that annoying 'save the day'
video in the comments area on youtube.

Trump beat

out)
-media
-Obama
-Democrats
-Republicans
-celebrities
-comedians
-authors
-Hillary
-famous YouTubers
-God
this man is unstoppable.

Trump beat God?

Even Trump doesn't claim that and he has a loose grip on facts when it comes to his own achievements.

I don't see yet any particular reason why Trump would be primed to lose re-election.

Full disclosure, this was followed by a link.  Maybe I'm an eternal optimist, but I can absolutely see a reason why Trump doesn't win a second term:  the investigations.  They started from the moment he took office, which is different from those that took place when Watergate occurred.  This man is going to be plagued every day of every month that he sits in the White House.

It may not catch up to him today.

It may not catch up to him tomorrow.

It may not catch up to him in a year.

But it will catch up to him.

It took nearly three years for Watergate to catch up to Nixon.  Three years.

People forget that.  They think Watergate. Nixon. Gone.  But it wasn't that fast at all.  It was a long, drawn-out process.  And we have to not only understand that, but be prepared for it.  Because that's what will happen. That's not only our justice system, it's the road blocks put in place to subvert justice.  It's just how the world works, sadly enough.

But to the point about not seeing a reason why Trump won't win in 2020? You're not paying enough attention to the politics of the land separate and apart from national presidential elections.  When Dems win seats in states that have been Republican strongholds and when they challenge and win in states that would have otherwise never considered them?  Politics is won on the grassroots level not the presidential.  Change the states and you change the country.

I'm far more optimistic now than I ever was in 2016.

So you put the nation at risk through too many horrible decisions to mention just because you love watching the shitshow?  Seriously?  Good on ya, Thomas.  Great American.  Glad you're loving the "reality show" that is Trump.

Have fun, douchebag.
