The San Diego Exclusive is live and available
for pre-order. Ordered mine. 13 days and this
beauty will be in my grubby little hands!

For those who don't know, unlike the ARTISTS EDITION this does not include complete stories. IDW was not able to gain access to all the art.

Does IDW ever make the convention exclusives available for purchase other than at the convention?  I'm not going to San Diego, but a signed book by JB would be cool (the non-signed edition is going to be cool, too, but you know what I mean).

Yes they have, but I’d expect a 100 print run to sell out during the Con.

What usually happens is if the exclusive
doesn't sell out during the con they go on
sale to the general public.

There are too many great exclusives at SDCC. I would buy one, but I can't get to San Diego to pick it up! The regular version will have the same stuff in it at least. =)

I don't know the release date but the regular
edition is available for pre-order at any of
your local comic shops.

The last word on release date I saw from Scott Dunbier was late July.
