They've just announced the next Blu Ray set.  Interestingly, rather than continuing with Tom Baker, they're releasing series/season 19, aka Peter Davison's first season.  As with the previous release, lots of extras.

I like that they're going with variety rather than just doing things chronologically.

Can't say I am interested, though. DVDs are enough.

Many of the DVDs seem to have gone out of print about halfway through my own collecting; luckily, the Blu Ray sets seem to be priced comparably to my  missing DVDs if I need two or three stories from the season.

I might consider the Davison set, I didn't get to see his first season as they went back to the beginning of the Tom Baker era after Logopolis.

The Blu Rays are a pretty good deal considering how much the Beeb sold the DVDs for in the 90s/00s.  I have both of the Tom Baker sets.  I wonder what they'll do with the first two doctors.

Do you really WANT to see "classic" DOCTOR WHO in Hi-Def? These shows were produced for very primitive broadcast television. And that's how they were meant to be seen.
