Missed last week and Thursday, but I'm just having fun trying to pick winners anyway:

Sunday, September 30

  • Jets at Jaguars - I'll pick the team that beat the Patriots over the team that lost to the Browns...
  • Dolphins at Patriots - The Patriots won't lose 3 in a row...
  • Eagles at Titans - Iggles...
  • Texans at Colts - Not really a Texans fan...
  • Bills at Packers - Yeah, it didn't work out as well last time I picked the Pack...
  • Lions at Cowboys
  • Buccaneers at Bears
  • Bengals at Falcons
  • Seahawks at Cardinals
  • Browns at Raiders
  • Saints at Giants
  • 49ers at Chargers
  • Ravens at Steelers - I can hope The Stillers puts 2 in a row together...

Monday, October 1

  • Chiefs at Broncos - Great Googly Moogly, them Chefs are good...

Sunday, September 30

  • Jets at Jaguars
  • Dolphins at Patriots - The Dolphins always play the Pats tough.  In Miami.  [jinx]NO WAY do the Patriots lose three in a row.[/jinx]
  • Eagles at Titans
  • Texans at Colts - Crossing my fingers.  Low confidence pick.
  • Bills at Packers - Who knows this year?  Jeez.
  • Lions at Cowboys - Classic trap game for the Lions.
  • Buccaneers at Bears - Bears D gets some turnovers.
  • Bengals at Falcons
  • Seahawks at Cardinals
  • Browns at Raiders - AFC North!  Represent!
  • Saints at Giants
  • 49ers at Chargers - No Jimmy G.
  • Ravens at Steelers - Steelers at home, at night, Roethlisberger has a hot hand.  That's about all they have going for them.  Is it enough?

Monday, October 1

  • Chiefs at Broncos - I literally changed this one after pasting it here.  Chiefs will lose eventually; why not in Denver with a rookie QB?
Predicted TIE: Browns at Raiders

Monday Night Drama!

I'm down 0-1 already.  Not good.  And after watching Chicago trounce the Bucs, I am feeling like Pittsburgh should have lost last week and probably will this week :(

Sunday, September 30

  • Jets at Jaguars - Right
  • Dolphins at Patriots - Right
  • Eagles at Titans - Wrong. Something's not right with the Eagles D.
  • Texans at Colts - Wrong
  • Bills at Packers - Sadly right
  • Lions at Cowboys - RIGHT! HAGERMAN WRONG!!!
  • Buccaneers at Bears - Right. The Bucs are who we thought they were.

  • Seahawks at Cardinals - Right
  • Browns at Raiders - Wrong
  • Saints at Giants - Right
  • 49ers at Chargers - Right
  • Ravens at Steelers - Wrong

Watching the Saints sew it up against the Giants in the 4th was classic.  Pound the ground, grind the clock, break the D football.

Steelers scoreless in the second half again.  Ravens took care of business and won handily.

Bah.  We've got some excellent rookie QBs out there.  8-8 this week, 1-2 versus Matt.

Awards!

There were three OT games but no ties.  Not everyone made a tie pick, but of the people who did - all their games went into OT.

Well, we got Charlie Brown'd TWICE: by the Bengals over the Falcons in Atlanta, and by the Titans over the SB champion Eagles in Tennessee.

But Rich Marzullo stepped up twice himself, correctly picking a pair of road victories in division contests (Texans over Colts and Ravens over Steelers).  Excellent work!  Bookends!
