It's Wednesday.  Let's see what everyone is getting.

  • BATMAN WHO LAUGHS #3 - It's interesting.
  • AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #15 - I'm still enjoying this title a lot.
  • CAPTAIN MARVEL #2 - I didn't think I'd ever follow Captain Marvel again, but I was intrigued by the first issue.
  • MR AND MRS X #8 - Now officially the only X title I'm following.

Detective Comics #998- I'm really enjoying this run so far!

Hawkman #9- One of my favorite DC books.

Superman #8- For some weird reason, I'm enjoying Action more.

Wonder Woman #64- As much as I enjoyed the last arc, I'm interested to see how much staying power this book has with me.

Amazing Spider-Man #15- I just told a buddy how much I like this book and he's going to check it out so I've got my rep on the line.

Captain Marvel #2- We'll see how this goes. #1 was a bit quippy.

Savage Sword of Conan #1- I like Ron Garney so I hope this is good.

Thor #10- I loathe crossovers but I'm giving War of the Realms a chance.

Han Solo: Imperial Cadet #4: I've been enjoying this mini series...
Superman #8: So far I'm not hating Bendis as much as I did when he did New Avengers...
True Believers: Captain Marvel vs Ronan the Accuser: These books really are crack, for $1 I can buy a book that takes longer to read than a $4 book...

And from Half Price Books this week:
Young Gods & Friends by BWS: The Fantagraphics reprinting of the 9 issues worth of material that originally came out, unfortunately I don't think they ever released the Paradoxman or Freebooters...

GIDEON FALLS and DARK ARK for me (I forget what the issue numbers are!)

Both are really entertaining reads.

Superman # 8 - I'm not normally a Bendis fan, but he seems to be hitting the right notes with Superman.

Amazing Spider-Man # 15 - I'm really enjoying this book.

BLACKBIRD #5 - It's had its moments, but overall I don't think this book is for me. The first story's already paid for (i.e. through #6), but unless it ends on one heck of a bang I think that'll be it.

CRIMINAL #2 - Glad to see this one back on the stands.

IMPOSSIBLE INC #4 - Weird to say this about a series where all reality may soon end, but it's been a fun book.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #15 - Leading up to the big Hunted storyline. Based on the last one, Spencer's following up on the return of Ned Leeds from the last Slott annual, and I'm officially confused about Marvel's stance on dead characters. If you feel that no characters should stay dead and are willing to dredge up 30 year old corpses, stop killing characters off! It's just dumb.

AVENGERS NO ROAD HOME #1 - The sequel to No Surrender (Av #675-690) which ran a bit long but had its charms. We'll see how it goes.

THOR #10 - Leading up to the big War of the Realms storyline. (A little annoyed that the big story Aaron's been leading up to for his entire run winds up as a separate crossover mini. Ah well.)

STRANGERS IN PARADISE XXV #10 - I have no idea how Moore is going to tie it all up in one issue.

I can't deal whatsoever with Bendis on the Superman titles. I just hope he doesn't stay too long and one particularly important thing (some of you will know what I'm talking about) returns to the status quo ante after he's gone.

On the other hand, Jason Aaron has been firing on all cylinders on AVENGERS.
