He got Rosalind Russell as Lois Lane, but missed Cary Grant as Clark Kent!? Has he never seen HIS GIRL FRIDAY?

Who are Ritta Hayworth and Carole Lombart?

This seems incredibly sloppy given he is selling these.

(Further nitpick: Bill Bojangles and Ingrid Bergman were born 38 years apart. Let's be generous and say he's playing a 50 year old Rhodey. He was 50 in 1927, when Ingrid Bergman was 12 and living in Sweden. I know these things aren't real and it's possible it's not supposed to be feasible, but allied with the sloppy spellings, it makes me think he just didn't care to check.)

Casting with a time machine frets me not.

Those were pretty fun!

Though I would've cast Myrna Loy as Clea .

Surely this is not the first time someone has done this.

A reminder of how superhero movies looked in the 1940s:

If a star really fell out with the studio they might have been in one.

Whenever Edna May Oliver pops up in an old movie my first thought is Agatha Harkness.

I've often wondered if Jack used her as his model.

Not casting Esther Williams as Mera seems like a bit of a crime.  ;)

He doesn't really capture the actors' likenesses a lot of the time for me, but a very cute idea. I guess Rita Hayworth is Mera by sheer virtue of the red hair she had later in her career. Bogart as Hellboy seemed the most ridiculous, but maybe ridiculous is good for something like this. :^)

I know what you mean. Some are fine, but if I saw the Hepburn-as-Catwoman image in isolation, I don't think I would guess it was her even with 20 guesses.
