Okay, I think I may be going senile...
When the first trailer for BATMAN came out in the winter/spring of '89, I'd taped it off of MTV's "The Big Picture" movie program, and of course, proceeded to watch it about a gazillion different times. And in said trailer, Nicholson/The Joker delivers the line, "Where does he get those wonderful toys?" Fine, good, it's a cute line...
But then I remember when the film came out (and on various viewings at home), that line was edited down so that it was actually a command to his goons: "Get those wonderful toys." Which I always found curious, and a bit clunky.
Well, fast forward to a few nights ago, when I watched the 2-disc special edition DVD, and I swear the line is back to the original, "Where does he get..."
IMDb does not mention any alternative versions with this discrepancy. Am I imagining things??? Or have I been half-deaf for the past 30 years?
