Played the wrong QB again too. Wow. This week should be a titanic tussle.

You still have to play me, Rich!  This week v the Macho Men was one I feared on the schedule.  Not only because of their record number of points this season, but because it was a nightmare matchup re: the players I was fielding in the games they were playing.  Look at essentially the same team last week to this week.  Night and day.  And I couldn't find anyone on waivers to help bolster my cause.

Ah well, I haven't ended a JBF season in the top four in a very long time so I'll take it.  Would love to be #3!  ;)

I'm not thrilled with my match-ups for the big game but I believe in my team!

Augh, forgot about our matchup, Matt. Hey, at least I'll finish the season on a high note! Haha!

Couldnít find any help on waivers? No waiver requests in front of me to keep me from grabbing AJ Brown to replace Cal Ridley in my lineup and plugging him in as my flex for a cool 25 points this week. I bumped Kenyan Drake for him so I canít complain too much. Adrian Peterson was a late week free agent add who scored 18 on my bench. Tsk tsk.

Can't count on AP for consistent week-to-week numbers.  Easy to look back and say "damn, why didn't I pick that guy up?" on a single week.  I did that enough this season to get me into the top four, however. Drake wasn't available, 'natch (although I have him in my other league and played him this week), and I neglected to see Brown (who I did pick up and play in my other league).  That said?  Nothing was gonna get me the numbers to beat the Macho Men this week.  Sub out the players I did start for the one guy you mention I could have picked up.  Wouldn't have gotten me the W.  I'm sure there was some way to get to 164, but I'd have to have been a psychic to find that path.

Something to consider...my other league has an IR option.  Essentially, it's a single slot designated for just one player who you have who is placed on IR. In this case, if one of your players goes on IR you don't have to drop them. If you have two or more players, you have to choose which ones to drop.

This season, Hunter Henry went on IR for me almost immediately.  I dropped him (in two leagues as a matter of fact) but was lucky enough to pick him back up (in both leagues, also lucky) by keeping up on his health.  But I wouldn't have had to drop him at all if I had used my one designated slot to hold him.

I think it's an interesting and worthy addition to our league, but want to get your feedback.

Well, here we go. I think Iím going to have to get a little lucky and roll some dice on some guys, and hope my opponent gets a little unlucky. The Macho team is a monster, but my Iron Fists have felled bigger foes.

The Macho Men are going to need some big second halfs to get this one done...

EDIT:  Seriously? Getting roasted because of the Indy defense ... sigh ...
