JB,

I don't want the thread to drift, but everytime I come to this site, I'm getting a BTS look at Marvel during my peak Marvel comic collecting days (1976 - 1987).

Now back to the show!

Thanks!

Getting a look at that period is not a bad thing. Time has polished off the rough edges, and for many who were not there it is impossible to understand what it was like.

I wonder what the Avengers' liaison with the US government will make of this attack? Oh, wait....

I am loving the multi-faceted nature of the plots/threats in this series. The sentinels are clearly up to something and way, way more powerful than we have seen before (with the exception of Days of Future Past).

They seem to be all over the place, pushing forward their plans - love it. And the whole Muir Island events still have me thinking.

First, thank you, JB, for the work you’re doing and sharing here with us. For a few minutes each day this work brings back fond memories and helps me to feel like a youth again.

The method you’re employing here kind of reminds me of the serial comic strips such as Rip Kirby or Steve Canyon that were once found in the daily newspapers. I don’t recall if they had Sunday strips. They must have looked something like what we’re seeing here. I wasn’t a fan of such storytelling back in the day. I’m loving it now.

Finally, today’s entry brings to mind a particular panel from way back when. I can’t wait to see what follows and how our heroes overcome this threat.

Everybody has their favorites, and at the risk of slight offense, I have to say that I really like George Perez's version (not that JB's is bad in any way)

That said, for me, nobody draws a better Jean or Ororo than JB!  Can see why everybody (in the comics at least) swoons over them :-)

After all the praises I’ve sung to him, I can’t understand why anyone would think I’d take offense over coming up second to George.

Sentinels VS Avengers!!!!! YYYEEESSSS!!!!!! One of the first comics I bought as a child was Avengers #103. Please, please, please don't let that Sentinel just leave with Wanda until it battles Cap, Vision, Iron Man, etc.   Fingers crossed.
