I wonder what Jim Lee thinks of the brown costume being considered the classic one now.

••

A reference to Lee having informed me, in the few minutes I was scripting the X-Books, that he was putting Wolverine back in his "real" costume--apparently forgetting who had made the change!

There's a song by XTC from 1980/81 called "Living Through Another Cuba"...I was 12 or 13 then and the Cuban Missile Crisis (1962) seemed like it was incredibly far in the past.

I'm having trouble reconciling the fact that that song was written 18 years after that event and that it's now been 39 or 40 years since that song came out.

Mr. Byrne, I don't think you're old. I think you have an extensive memory and history. And you're surely OLDER.

Old (to me) is a state of mind and physical activity. I couldn't ever imagine you in a sedentary lifestyle - that's just beyond what I can imagine.

I have a relative who's just turned 85 and is out tearing up the neighborhood. I'm thinking of getting a Harley as a gift.
