I haven't seen it myself, yet, as I have a lot of catching up to do, but I understand there's a few "Easter Eggs" of sorts in the finale.

I added "spoilers" to the title, as I figure it would be some time before I could catch up anyway, so I didn't want to stop the rest of you from being able to openly discuss things if you wanted to do that.

I thought it was a good ending. But I'm still going to inviso text my comments...for now:

INVISO TEXT (Click or highlight to reveal):
I like that Oliver resurrected his mom, Quentin and Tommy.

Hopefully, Diggle mentioning that his family is moving to Metropolis means that they'll be on the new Superman and Lois series. Especially hoping so now that he may have just acquired a certain piece of jewelry.

And I may actually give GREEN ARROW & THE CANARIES a chance after last week's episode. If it was just Mia and the other kids like in last season's flash forward, I wouldn't watch it at all.

A certain comic book writer/artist whom I won’t identify gets name-
checked in this episode.

I was amused: is-john-byrne-/

- Ollie could undo the deaths of several characters, but he couldn't give Roy his arm back? Cold.

- I saw on Madison McLaughlin's social media that she was unable to work out her scheduling conflict and come back for this season. Which saddens me greatly, because my biggest complaint of any ARROW storyline was that Artemis' heel turn never made sense, and she and her betrayal were never addressed again. Marc, if you are still lurking, would she have been redeemed a la Emiko? BECAUSE HER HEEL TURN DIDN'T MAKE SENSE.

- Keeping Earth-2 Laurel was the right call, as she's the more fun and interesting character, but what's her Earth-Prime history now? Was there always another Laurel that she replaced, or was she always Laurel with Black Siren's memories. Marc?

- Overall, I think this has been my favorite season. The characters acknowledged the mistakes they've made in the past and shown how they've grown since then.

sigh There’s nothing even remotely “ironic” about Marc’s use of my name.

Oddly enough, the L&O episode where your namesake is
murdered was also on TV the same night on WE.
