I was thinking this morning about the early years of my career. Told I worked in comics, civilians would ask what Id done. Id rattle off my short list, X-Men, Avengers, Captain America, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four. TV memories of the last two. Blank and confused stares for the rest.

Now......

But Im not sure the change is for the better.

Once, I would have to explain who all those Marvel characters are.

Now, I often waste my time explaining who those Marvel characters used to
