When I was about 10 years old, the Young Ones was just about my favourite show (and it would have been repeats I was watching in 1985). Not long after it was usurped by Blackadder II, but a for a few months there I was obsessed with the Young Ones (even now, I can recite from memory all of Rik's poem Pollution).
