I can't believe how good this series is. And it keeps getting better and better.
I'd be so happy to buy a couple of tradepaperbacks collecting the episodes so far-- when I received my copies of X-Men The Hidden Years, years ago, I was so ecstatic, and I sincerely believed there was no way for me to repeat the experience. I was so wrong.

(PS Is there a Hiddenm Years thread for questions? I tried to search for it but I got a technical error).

Hi Franco - welcome to the John Byrne Forum!

We do encourage members to check existing threads, but that should be done
within reason. The HIDDEN YEARS threads from the release are so far in the
rear view mirror that you can start a new thread in the main forum. I have been
thinking a lot about the series with ELSEWHEN going strong, so I think it's a
great idea to revisit those stories

If you still want to search old threads, the best way I found is to use:
"site" minus the quotes in a google search.
So to look for Hidden Years topics, search "site Hidden Years" minus the quotes.

I found this old Kirby Spider-Man poster image online, one that was re-drawn by John Romita with the Sentinels replaced by Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus-- who were, generally speaking, more suitable enemies for the wall-crawler.

But was this, by any stretch of the imagination, in your mind when you included Spider-Man for this epic Sentinel battle?

Seems unlikely, but it does provide a context for this Kirby image to make a little more sense -- as if it was an Elsewhen preview.

Altho Iíve seen this image before, it was not a conscious influence here. I just like drawing Spider-Man!
