Nobody is just standing around posing.

••

A double problem, since so often with current artists the "standing around posing" means the SAME poses, over and over. A couple of poses for the men, a couple of poses for the women.

JB,

Your love of Sue Richards is shining through in this series.

Somewhere..... deep down inside you ....  I know there is a FF Elsewhen  just waiting to be released. 🤔

Deny it all you want.  ☺

JB, I was afraid of this...the Sentinels take over...it's not the next one, this is it. Are we waiting for Kate back from the future as Deus Ex Machina, I'm sure you have (already drawn) something different and brilliant ? OMG, OMG OMG !!! Thank you so much !!!!

I don't know if this qualifies as a "denial", but the main difference between my run on UNCANNY X-MEN and my run on FANTASTIC FOUR is that there was no forced break in my storytelling on the FF. So there's no real point from which I could go forward with "this is what would really have happened".

I'm making my way through the X-Men at the moment (I'm
holding the FF collection until I have finished these).
Still on the first series. once that's done, I'll be
intermingling the stories between 65 and 94 with hidden
years (if I can figure out an order).

Once I get to 137, I'm going to move to Elsewhen as my
continuation.

It'll take a good while to get to them, but I'm really
looking forward to the exercise.

XHY fits right between those two issues.

I meant all the other published side issues such as the
Beast solo stories, but thinking about this, you didn't
get to the point he transformed so I don't really need to
worry.

65, then straight to Hidden years and then those other
stories in other series that were published before 94.

It would have been neat to see JB's DOOM WAR storyline, but it also would have been neat to see that three part Stern/Byrne Red Skull storyline in Captain America, and it would have been neat to see that Immortus/Kang storyline from Avengers West Coast that's outlined in the FAQ, and it would have been neat to see 200 issues of Danger Unlimited.

I'm grateful for what we've gotten!

Somewhat related - CAP #247 was published on 4/8/1980, per the Spinner Rack twitter account. 40 years!

Steve A.: "How many of them are there?" How many? Not enough.

For my taste, I don't prefer a combative victory quite as much as I do a Reed or Tony coming up with a solution - brains over brawn, even though I LOVE the brawn!

And today's page - to coin a phrase, deny it all you want; but that's a Fantastic Four page that slipped into an X-Men story. :) :) :)

And the Master of the World? Are you KIDDING? That's GREAT!

I do echo the pondering of other readers... Emma Frost actually survived her battle with Phoenix? Obviously she did... but if you're minded to advise us, I'm really curious how.

I think that all the teams here are shown in fantastic character and effect, and as you've "owned" all three of them... well, now I gotta go back and re-read your FF run, and your WCA run. I have a little time on my hands :), so I'm going to treat myself. Thanks for providing the treats to us!

I've missed that version of Northstar and Aurora with the complimentary costumes. Hoping they aren't dead. :^)

Makes me think how EASY it is for us to consider this the "official" continuity when we worry if we will lose a character in it! I may have said it before, but this all being fiction means the "official story" is in the eye of each reader.

I'm reserving how I'll consider it personally until after I see the whole story :-)

Let's assume she "survived" in whatever manner Marvel subsequently said she survived.

Besides just the pure enjoyment of seeing my friends again I'm struck (and happy) at how I'm actively reading a "comic book" again at 53. I've long moved on because I realized the titles of today just aren't for me and I don't recognize the characters, but if this were on the stands I guess I'd be spending money at an LCS again. Thanks so much for this.
